Please Plan to Attend
our 13th Annual Pro Bono Reception on October 23, 2008
The 13th Annual
Pro Bono Reception will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2008
from 5:30-8:30 pm at the beautiful New York
State Museum Terrace Gallery in downtown Albany. Our Mistress
of Ceremonies is Lydia Kulbida of WNYT. There will
be a cocktail reception with a beer and wine open bar, and delicious
hors d'oeuvres as well as a wonderful Silent Auction. You can register
to attend the Reception on our secure website at www.legalproject.org
or by check to The Legal Project. All donations are tax deductible!
Get in on the Silent Auction
Fun NOW!
The auction will
be available for bidding prior to the event for the first time, in early
October, so you will have the opportunity to view the wonderful prizes
and make bids before the event, even if you cannot attend. We will send
out a link to the on-line auction on the CDWBA Weekly Update, but in
the meantime, if you would like to donate an item, a service such as
a will or real estate closing or gift certificate to the auction, please
contact me at lfrisch@legalproject.org.
We have a good number of very talented artists who are CDWBA members
who have contributed to the auction, so if you make jewelry or are an
artist, please consider helping us!
Advertising in our Program
Journal
We have opportunities
for low cost advertising in our Program Journal for the Reception—please
contact me at lfrisch@legalproject.org
for specs and prices by October 10th! Thank you!
Congratulations to our 13th
Annual Pro Bono Reception Awardees!

A Day at the Races: July
24, 2008
The CDWBA, Adirondack
Women’s Bar Association and The Legal Project cosponsored our
Second Annual Day at the Races at Saratoga on a rather soggy day in
July. Despite the rain, everyone had a wonderful time! Here are some
photos of the festivities!
