Happy New Year!

As you all know, in order to continue our important work helping victims of domestic violence with their civil legal needs in the Capital District throughout 2007, we need to maintain the wonderful support that we have received from the community during this past year. The generous matching grant that we will receive if we are able to bring in the necessary donations of $50,000 will make all the difference in us meeting the increased needs in our community. If you have not already done so, please consider helping us with a donation (see our secure website www.legalproject.org for more info or to donate). Every dollar that is raised will be doubled and will be used to support direct services to domestic violence victims needing our civil legal services. Thank you in advance for all of your support! And thank you to Liza’s Legacy, the Sherry and Barry Gold Donor Advised Fund of the Community Foundation, the Sidney and Beatrice Albert Foundation and Martin, Harding & Mazzotti for their generous pledge of a total of $50,000 for this match.
