Thanks to Camille Siano Enders and Ron Orlando for testifying at the NYS Assembly Hearing on Civil Legal Services Funding on February 24th. Many other legal services providers, including Anne Erickson from the Empire Justice Center testified, in addition to one of our former domestic violence clients, who brought tears to the eyes of the Assembly panel and audience. Thank you to all who have given their support for reinstating state funding for civil legal services in the 2010 budget—we’ll keep you posted on any new developments!
